DropMaterials
About

Somebody nearby wants that.

Every day, trucks full of perfectly good material — wood chips, fill, gravel, logs, brick — drive past people who would happily take it, and pay a fee to bury it instead. The driver loses an hour. The business loses money. The material is gone.

DropMaterials is the routing layer that was missing: declare what you have, get matched to someone close who accepts it, navigate straight to the spot they marked, drop. No browsing, no messaging, no negotiating. A dispatch tool that happens to be good for the ground.

We think of it as Google Maps for unwanted material, not eBay for garbage. Free for the people taking it. Built for the businesses moving it.

How it works

Declare → Match → Navigate → Drop.

  1. 1

    Tell us what you have

Material, amount, truck. Under 30 seconds.

  2. 2

    We find nearby matches

Compatible drop sites, ranked by detour time.

  3. 3

    Drop it where it’s useful

Navigate straight there. Gate code and dump zone included.

Useful

Every screen answers: what is it, who can take it, how far out of the way, where exactly.

Local

Detour time beats straight-line distance. A great site 40 minutes away isn’t a match.

Honest

Describe it straight. Drop it where they said. Ratings both ways. That’s the whole culture.
